Mike Duckor was co founder of Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne. Until

the Managing Principal of the firm and responsible for management of the
litigation side of the practice. Mike has worked over the years to build
a strong, effective, and responsive litigation team within the firm.
Mike’s 37 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts,
including real estate, construction (public and private), insurance
coverage, financial institutions, securities, employment law,
intellectual property, environmental law, tort and general business
litigation, provide an invaluable background for the mediation and
arbitration of commercial litigation matters.
MEDIATION, ARBITRATION AND SPECIAL MASTER EXPERIENCE
For the past 20 years, Mike has worked throughout the States of
California and Nevada as a private mediator, arbitrator and special
master. It is often said that Mike’s trademark is his ability to see the
"big picture" and lead parties to an effective, goal oriented resolution
of their problems. Mike is regularly retained by individual and business
entity parties and has been appointed by the courts as a mediator,
arbitrator and/or special master in well over 1,000 matters. He has
served numerous times for the judiciary and in the private sector as an
independent expert relating to issues involving case management and
settlement.
Mike’s forthright, researched and energetic approach simplifies and
unravels even the most complex multiparty disputes, even those involving
many layers of insurance coverage and indemnity. His skill set not only
brings parties to meaningful resolutions via mediation, but combined
with his extensive litigation experience, tempered legal knowledge, and
reputation for impartiality to make Mr. Duckor an ideal choice for
arbitrator.
Mike is a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, a
