APPOINTMENTS, TEACHING, LECTURING AND PUBLICATIONS

Ms. Halper was appointed in 2010 to the State Bar of California Committee on Mandatory Fee Arbitration.

Jobi Halper regularly lectures on a wide variety of ADR issues both publicly, including the ABA’s Corporate Counsel section, and for many medium and small private firms, concerning drafting arbitration clauses, effective arbitration, mediation tips, mediating and arbitrating in class action and complex cases, and the Class Action Fairness Act. Ms. Halper served as an adjunct professor at the California Western School of Law on Partnership and Agency matters.

Ms. Halper writes extensively as the Editor for the American Bar Association, Section on Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution Webpage, and for Conflict Management Magazine. Ms. Halper is the author of the Class Action chapter in the ABA Section on Litigation’s new Alternative Dispute Resolution book.
